Dear Santa

This tutorial was written for those that have a working knowledge of PSP.
Supplies Needed:
PSP 9 (any version will work)
Scrap kit by Nit Wit Collections Twas The Night kit plus lil bits
Moon cloud by Rainbow Coffi which you can get from PSP-Playground
Font of choice - I am using '1 Snappy DNA'
Filter used - VM Natural - Sparkle
Lets get started
New canvas 700 x 700 we can resize this later - flood fill white
Open up the scalloped mat from the lil bits kit-resize-copy and paste this onto your canvas
Using the selection tool-set on rectangle-draw out a rectangle shape in the center of the mat
New raster layer-flood fill black-add the filter-VM Natural-sparkle-change the max size to 10-click ok
Selections-select none
Copy and paste the moon cloud-resize and arrange as above
Choose a ribbon from the kit-resize-copy and paste onto your canvas
Arrange at the top of the black rectangle-use the selection tool to cut off any excess
Duplicate then arrange this at the bottom of the black rectangle
Duplicate-rotate-left by 90-arrange on to the left of the rectangle-cutting off any excess
Duplicate-image-mirror-image-flip-arrange this on the right of the rectangle
You should have ribbon all around the black rectangle
Open up the Dear Santa wordart from the lil bit kit
Resize-copy and paste onto your tag-arrange this near the bottom of your tag
Selections-select all-float-defloat-modify-expand by 2.00-new raster layer
Flood fill with white-selections-select none-move this layer below the Dear Santa wordart
Drop shadow of 1, 1, 30, 3.00 black
Add any other elements from the kit-I added some presents, holly and the naughty and nice tags
Add drop shadow of 1, 1, 30, 3.00 to any elements you add
Using a font of choice-add your name place where desired
Crop and resize if needed
Add any copyright info
Now let's animate your tag:
Open up Animation Shop ready
In PSP we want to copy and paste the tag you have so far into AS
Edit-copy merged-in AS paste as new animation
Back to PSP
Open up Santa Sleigh from the kit-resize-you want this quite small
Copy and paste onto your tag-move this layer just above the moon clouds
Place santa's sleigh bottom left hand corner of your center rectangle
For now you only want a bit of the reindeer showing

Using the selection tool-set on rectangle-draw around the part of the santa sleigh that is outside the center rectangle

Hit delete so all you got showing is a little bit of the reindeer
Selections-select none-edit-copy merged-back to AS
On the tag you already got in there-paste after current frame
Back to PSP-press undo 3 times so the sleigh comes back
Now move the santa sleigh a little to the right
Using the selection tool again-set on rectangle-draw around the part of the santa sleigh that is outside the center rectangle
Hit delete-selections-select none-edit-copy merged-back to AS
Paste after current frame
Back to PSP and repeat the above keeping moving the sleigh to the right a little bit each time
You won't need to erase the sleigh once it is fully in the center of the rectangle
Once the reindeer reaches the right of the rectangle
You will need to start deleting from that end
Keeping moving right, deleting and pasting into AS until you have just abit of the sleigh showing
Now you should have all your frames in animation shop to make Santa move across the rectangle
In AS-click on the very first frame-edit-copy-now click the very last frame
Edit-paste-after current frame-edit-select all
Animation-frame properties-change that to 20-click ok
Now test your tag and Santa should move across your tag
Save your tag as .gif
