This tutorial was written for those that have a working knowledge of PSP
Supplies Needed:
PSP 9 (any version will work)
Tube of choice and a close up
For this set I used artwork by Ismael Rac

Texture of choice - I search on Deviantart for mine
Animation supplied here
Sparkles of choice
Font of choice I am using Impact, FFF Urban and bank gothic

Filters used:
Eye Candy 4000 - Gradient Glow for name
VanDerLee Unplugged X - Interlace
VM Extravaganza - transmission
Xenofex 2 - Constellation - own settings of choice
I used some settings that Linda gave me but play around and come up with something you like

Lets get started

New canvas 600 x 250 flood fill white

Open up your texture of choice - colourize to match your tube
Copy and paste this onto your canvas

Open up your close up of choice
Copy and paste this over to your canvas
Arrange this to the left of the canvas-once happy-duplicate-mirror
Arrange on the right
Duplicate this layer-adjust-hue and saturation-colorize
Use the following settings



Or use colours of choice-once happy click ok
Change the blend mode to screen then lower the opacity to around 56
Effects-plugins-VanDerLee - Interlace-default settings-click ok
Select the original close up layer-change the blend mode to Luminance (L)
Lower the opacity to around 56
You might want to play around with these settings see what looks best with the tube/close up you are using

Repeat the above on the close up on the left of your canvas

Using a fat font of choice-I am using Impact-add the words 'Flirtacious'
Try to make this pretty big-arrange as above
Selections-select all-float-defloat-open up your tube of choice
Copy and paste this over the first couple letters
Selections-invert-hit delete-paste the tube again-arrange again over a couple other letters
Hit delete-repeat again until all the letters are covered with tube parts
Merge visible the tube parts only-select the word layer again-the one we typed out
Selections-select all-float-defloat-selections-modify-expand by 4.00
Foreground white-background #de257e-click on the background colour to bring up material properties
Select the gradient tab-use the following settings



New raster layer-flood fill with the gradient settings
Selections-select none-adjust-add/remove noise-add noise-use the following settings



Add drop shadow 1, 1, 20, 2.00 black
Close off the original wording layer
Back onto the merged tube part layer-duplicate-change the blend mode to screen
Effects-plugins-VM Extravaganza - Transmission-line width 15-click ok
I drew out couple of tiny hearts and added this to my letters-this is optional

Preset shape-rectangle-close off foreground colour-change the background colour to white
Draw out a thin rectangle-arrange this at the bottom of your canvas
Once happy-convert to raster layer-lower the opacity to around 50
Change the background colour to #e22982-draw out a even thinner rectangle
Arrange this over your previous rectangle-convert to raster layer-lower opacity to around 50
Changing the background colour back to white-choose a pixel font of choice-I am using FFF Urban size 6
Add the words 'Flirty Gurl'-arrange this over the thin rectangles
Copy and paste your tube of choice-arrange this in the center of your canvas
Duplicate-on the duplicated layer-change the blend mode to soft light
On the original layer-add drop shadown of 1, 1, 30, 3.00 black

Select the white background layer-selections-select all
Modify-select selection borders-use following settings



New raster layer-using the same gradient settings as above
Flood fill the selected border-bring this layer to the very top
Switch the gradient glow so it is in your foreground
Preset shape-rectangle-line style dot-width 2.00
Draw out a dotted rectangle edge on your border
Convert to raster

Back to your white background layer-selections-select all
Modify-select selection borders-use following settings



New raster layer-flood fill with white
Add another dotted rectangle edge to this layer

Back to your white background layer-selections-select all
Modify-select selection borders-use following settings



New raster layer-flood fill with #e22982-add above noise settings
Add drop shadow to this layer-0, 0, 30, 3.00 black

Using a font of choice-I am using bank gothic add the words 'Flirty'
Arrange as above

Add proper copyright info and your name - I added gradient glow and noise to my name but this is up to you

Select the Flirtacious noise layer
Effects-plugins-Xenofex 2-consellation-use settings of choice
Click ok-edit-copy merged then open up Animation Shop-paste as new animation
If you are going to use the animation I supplied you will need 10 frames of your banner
So back to PSP-hit undo-back to Xenofex 2-consellation-hit random seed-click ok
Back in AS-paste after current frame-repeat the above until you have 10 frames of your banner in AS

So you should now have 10 frames in AS
Hit ctrl and A to select all the frames of your banner
Open up the animation supplied-ctrl and A if needed
Edit copy-select your banner frames-edit-paste into selected frame
Arrange the animation where desired
Hit view animation on your toolbar to preview your banner-all should be ok!! woohooo

Onto the avatar which is real simple!!
New canvas 150 x 150-copy and paste the texture you used for the banner
Add the same close up you used also-arrange as desired
Duplicate this layer-adjust-hue and saturation-colorize
Use the following settings



Or use colours of choice-once happy click ok
Change the blend mode to screen then lower the opacity to around 56
Effects-plugins-VanDerLee - Interlace-default settings-click ok
Select the original close up layer-change the blend mode to Luminance (L)
Lower the opacity to around 56

Copy and paste your tube of choice-arrange as above
Duplicate-on the duplicated layer-change the blend mode to soft light
On the original layer-add drop shadown of 1, 1, 30, 3.00 black

Now onto the borders-you want to use the same settings I used on the banner borders

Once you have done the borders you can add a lil heart shape if wanted
Add proper copyright info and your name

Select the outside border layer
Effects-plugins-Xenofex 2-consellation-use settings of choice
Click ok-edit-copy merged open up Animation Shop-paste as new animation
Back to PSP-hit undo-back to Xenofex 2-consellation-hit random seed-click ok
Back in AS-paste after current frame-repeat the above until you have 3 frames of your avatar in AS

Hit view animation on your toolbar to preview your avatar then save as .gif file
