Born To Be A Misfit

 
 
This tutorial was written for those 
that have a working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies Needed:
PSP 9 (any version will work)
Tubes of choice
I used artwork by Ismael Rac

Font of choice - I am using FFF Urban and LD Jilly Nilly
Mask #12 by Chelle Thanks hun!

Filters used 
 
 Penta.com - Jeans & color dot
Eye candy 4000 gradient glow
VanDerLee Unplugged X-Interlace

Supplies here
 
Lets get started

Open up the template-close off the watermark layer and wordart layer

Using a pixel font of choice-I am using FFF Urban-size-#ffffff
Type out 'Born To Be A Misfit' or your own words of choice
Convert to raster-close this layer for now

Change your foreground colour to #ff386a and the background colour to #000000
Click on the foreground to bring up materials properties-select the gradient tab-use the following settings
 

Click ok-select the circle2 layer-selections-select all-float-defloat
New raster layer-flood fill with the gradient-close off the original circle layer
Reopen the pixel text layer we did above-move this layer so it is above the gradient
Selections-invert-hit delete-selections-select none
On the text layer change the blend mode to overlay
Effects-plugins-eye candy 400-gradient glow-use following settings
 

 
Drop shadow 1, 1, 30, 3.00 black

Select circle1 layer-effects-plugins-penta.com-color dot-use following settings
 
 
Using the magic wand tool-select the star shape-selections-modify-expand by 2.00
New raster layer-flood fill with #ff386a
Effects-plugins-penta.com-jeans-use following settings
 

Selections-select none
Select the circle layer again-repeat above gradient glow settings
Repeat drop shadow

Select strip1 layer-selections-select all-float-defloat
New raster layer-flood fill with #ff386a-close off original layer
Repeat above penta.com-jeans settings
Selections-select none-add above gradient glow settings and drop shadow

Select the stars layer-adjust-add/remove noise-add noise-use following settings
 
 

Drop shadow 1, 1, 30, 3.00 black

Select strip2 layer-using a font of choice-I am using LD Jilly Nilly
Add the words 'Born To Be A Misfit' or your own words of choice
Convert to raster-on the strip2 layer-repeat above gradient glow & drop shadow settings

Select the photomat1 layer-selections-select all-float-defloat
Open up your tube of choice-image-mirror-copy & paste onto your canvas
Arrange over the selected area-once happy-selections-invert-hit delete
Duplicate the tube-adjust-blur-gaussian blur-radius 3.00
Change the blend mode to soft light-select the original tube layer
Change the blend mode to Luminance (L)
Back on the duplicated layer-effects-plugins-VanDerLee Unplugged X-Interlace-default settings

Select the frame1 layer-selections-select all-float-defloat 
New raster layer-flood fill with #ff386a-selections-select none
Repeat above noise, gradient glow and drop shadow settings

Select photomat2-selections-select all-float-defloat-flood fill with #ff386a
Add above noise settings-click on your tube canvas-image-mirror
Copy and paste over to your tag-arrange over the selected area
Selections-invert-hit delete
Duplicate the tube-adjust-blur-gaussian blur-radius 3.00
Change the blend mode to soft light
 Back on the duplicated layer-effects-plugins-VanDerLee Unplugged X-Interlace-default settings

Select frame2 layer-add above gradient glow & drop shadow settings

Open up Chelle's mask-new blank canvas 600 x 600-flood fill with #ff386a
Layers-new mask layer-from image-look for WSL_Mask12-click ok
Merge group-copy and paste this onto your tag-move this layer above the white background
Arrange to the left of your tag-see tag above

Using a font of choice-I am using LD Jilly Nilly-add your name to your tag
Arrange where desired

Copy and paste your tube of choice-arrange as above
Drop shadow 1, 1, 40, 4.00 black

Crop and resize your tag if needed-add proper copyright info then save your tag as .png
