This tutorial was written for those
that have a working knowledge of PSP.
Supplies Needed:
PSP 9 (any version will work)
Tube of choice
I used artwork by Keith Garvey
If you would like to use his artwork please visit Psp Tubes Emporium
I purchased this tube when Garv was at MPT
Font of choice - I am using 'Impact' and 'A & S Snapper'
Tribal flowers and screws - If these are yours please email me so I can either credit or remove thanks!
Template by me
Filter used 'Eye Candy - Gradient Glow'
Supplies here
Let's begin
New canvas 600 x 600 flood fill white
Copy and paste the template supplied
Preset shape-rectangle-stoke null-fill black
Draw out a square in the center of the template-convert to raster
Now draw out 2 rectangles-see tag above
Arrange either side of your center square
Using the magic wand-click inside the center square
Copy and paste your tube of choice-arrange to the left of your square
Once happy-selections-invert-delete-select none
Lower the opacity of the tube to 30-duplicate-arrange to the right of your square
Click back on the center square layer-eye candy gradient glow-following settings
Using the magic wand-click inside the left rectangle
Copy and paste your tube-arrange in the selected area
Selections-invert-delete-lower the opacity of the tube to 30
Duplicate then place this in the rectangle on the right
Repeat the above to add gradient glow to the rectangles
Add drop shadow of choice
Using a font of choice-I am using 'Impact' stoke null-fill white
Type any words to match your tag-I chose 'Too Hot'
Convert to raster-rotate left by 90-arrange on the left rectangle
Change the blend mode to overlay
Duplicate your words-image-mirror-image-flip-arrange on your right rectangle
Copy and paste a screw-resize-then place on each of the rectangles
Add the tribal flower-colorize the flowers if desired
Using the same font as above-stoke null-fill black-size 60
Add your words of choice-I chose 'Too Hot' again-convert to raster
Arrange at the top of your tag-using the magic wand
Select all the letters in your words-copy and paste your tube
Arrange over the first letter-selections-invert-delete
Repeat until all your words are filled-merge visible the words and the tube parts
Then repeat the gradient glow-duplicate your words-image-flip-image-mirror
Add drop shadow of choice to the words
Copy and paste your tube-arrange in the middle of your tag-drop shadow of choice
Aad your name-place to the bottom of your tag
Crop and resize if needed
Now add proper copyright info
All thats left is to save as .png
